Anwar Ibrahim verdict

Pakatan Rakyat leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim lost his final bid to overturn his sodomy conviction in the apex court today. The five-member Federal Court panel found, beyond reasonable doubt, that Anwar had sodomised his former aide Mohd Saiful Azlan Bukhari. Panel chairman Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria in reading out the judgement, said that from the evidence and facts adduced, there is overwhelming evidence that Saiful was sodomised. 10 February 2015.
